Temporary Partial Closure at Avenue of Stars

Partial closure of Avenue of Stars will be implemented from 26 October 2019 (Saturday) 10pm to 27 October 2019 (Sunday) 2pm for New World Harbour Race 2019. Area of partial closure includes the section near Salisbury Garden to the Intercontinental Hong Kong. Visitors may use the entrance on Salisbury Road (next to Starbucks) or Victoria Dockside (Sunday 10am – 10pm) to enter the non-closed area of the Avenue. Please refer to the attached map for more details. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.


Tender Invitation

AOS Management Limited is inviting tenders for the operation and management of the mobile carts at Avenue of Stars. Submission of tenders will close at 12:00 noon (Hong Kong time) on 12 April 2019. Late submissions will not be accepted.

In case Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above is hoisted or Black Rainstorm Warning Signal is in force for any duration between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon (Hong Kong time) on the tender closing date, the tender closing time will be postponed to 12:00 noon (Hong Kong time) on the first working day after the Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 is lowered or the Black Rainstorm Warning Signal has ceased to be in effect.

Interested parties are advised to read the tender documents (AOSML/TC/04/2019) carefully and follow the instructions to complete and submit their tenders. Thank you for your attention.

The Avenue of Stars has been given a contemporary makeover by internationally renowned architecture firm James Corner Field Operations and it will reopen to the public on Thursday, 31 January 2019 at 8:00am.
